Hello Clinton!
The final days of school will be Monday, June 14th for Gray Day students and Tuesday, June 15th for Blue Day students. They will be dismissed at 11:30. Just wanted you to be aware so you could plan. Take care, stay safe, and BE WELL!!
Good Afternoon! A message about 2 things: first, please consider donating to our drive for the Waterville Animal Shelter. We weren't able to put together a student council this year, but wanted to do a community project, so why not help out our "other" family members? Thanks to all who have donated and to those who will donate in the future! Second, we will complete the NWEA testing May 17 - May 28. It is VERY IMPORTANT that your child take this assessment. For our 3-6 graders, this is the state assessment. Any questions, feel free to contact me. Take care, stay safe and BE WELL!
Hello Clinton! During the month of May, we will be collecting items for the Waterville Humane Society. Please send in any items you would like at any time. Let's help our "other" family members!!
Hello Clinton! I apologize for the late message, but I wanted you all to know that the classroom teachers will be communicating with their blue students tomorrow and their gray students on Friday as we all work remotely for these two days. Please look for information from them to come home to you during the day tomorrow and then again on Friday. We will do our very best to work with all of the students as we go through these two remote days together. I appreciate your kind attention to this matter and also your patience. Take care and BE WELL!
Good Morning Clinton Elementary! I hope you have enjoyed the spring break and are ready to get back to school! We will see gray students on Monday, April 26th and blue students on Tuesday, April 27th. Don't forget about SCHOOL SPIRIT DAYS on Thursday and Friday, April 29th and 30th. Wear your Clinton attire OR the school colors!! Which classes will win the trophies this month? Take GOOD care and BE WELL!!

Hello All! Here is an important announcement from Ms. Giard about the yearbook: Hello Clinton Families! I would like to get more photos of 6th graders as babies, especially if you haven't sent in any. Also family photos of all our students (you have been such an important part of this year), and photos of your children working remotely. I hope to hear from all of you. The yearbook has to be in soon for printing so I need all photos to be sent to me by e-mail or Remind as soon as you can! Thank you for helping our children to make good memories of this year. Enjoy the beautiful weather!
Good Afternoon! We are making a change to our attendance procedures starting this Monday. PARENTS AND STUDENTS WILL NO LONGER NEED TO CHECK IN USING INFINITE CAMPUS. Students will automatically be marked present and the classroom teacher will change it to absent if the student is in fact absent, OR if the student has not completed their work on their at home day OR have not attended a scheduled google meet session. We are hoping this will clear up the confusion around truancy. Please call if you have questions. Enjoy the weekend and the beautiful weather! Stay safe, take care and BE WELL!!
Good Afternoon Clinton! April vacation is quickly approaching! Please help us to stay safe as we enter the final quarter of the school year by continuing to follow all COVID protocols during the break. Thanks again for your support during this challenging year. Lastly, remember to look for your child's report card next week and don't forget about conferences! Thanks, take care and BE WELL!!
Good Afternoon Clinton! Just a reminder that the third quarter closes this coming Friday, April 2nd. Please check with your children to make sure they have completed all assignments! Also, be sure to sign up for a conference time with your child's teacher. They are coming up fast - right before the April break. Thanks for ALL you do at home with your children - it is much appreciated. Fingers crossed we can all be together in the fall! Take care and BE WELL!!
Hello Clinton! I hope you have been able to enjoy the beautiful weather we have had lately! Please look for spring conference information to be sent home soon. We will have to do these virtually as we did in the fall. Make sure you set up a time to connect with your child's teacher. If your child is a fully remote student, it's even more important to stay connected! There is a staff workshop day on Friday the 19th. NO WORK is assigned to students. Also, just a note to confirm that Monday, March 22nd is a BLUE day for students. Take GOOD care and BE WELL! Mrs. Gordon
Clinton Elementary students recently raised over $1,000 for the American Heart Association with the "Jump Rope for Heart" program organized by our PE teacher, Mr. Plaisted. Ms. Nutting's class raised the most money and one of her students, Connor Fox, raised the most money overall for this important cause. He was rewarded by being able to pie Mr. Plaisted in the face! Mr. Plaisted, as always, was a great sport!
Our PreK was up to the challenge of our tie dye day today. They are our winners, with 100% of the class participating! Even Mrs. Porter and Ms. Daly joined in the fun!! CONGRATS to our PreK kiddos and their teachers! Stay tuned to hear who wins tomorrow.....
Welcome back staff and students! Tomorrow, Monday, February 22nd is a GRAY day!
And here is another principal's challenge student - congrats!!
The following students took the time over the summer to complete the principal's challenge. They were treated to a bag of goodies from Mrs. Gordon, the principal. Congrats to them!
Just a quick note to let everyone know we are off to a great start here in Clinton! I would like to thank the staff for ALL of their hard work!! All the students and staff have had a fantastic first week of school and we are looking forward to welcoming our Kindergarten students next week! Monday, Wednesday and Friday are BLUE days and Tuesday and Thursday are GRAY days. Enjoy your weekend!
